Club Meetings

The club is open to all members on Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the whole year.  We open at 11:00am and close at 4:00pm.

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month there is a clay shoot on the 100yd range.

Every 1st Saturday of each month there is a Practical Shotgun meeting.

On the last Sunday of each month, there is a Turning Targets meeting in the morning and a Running Boar meeting in the afternoon.  Both are seasonal and tend to take a break during the winter months.  Check the "Whats On" page for more information!

There are monthly committee meetings where all matters relating to the organisation and running of the club are discussed by the committee.  Minutes of the meeting are available on request to the wider membership of the club.  The committee are a hard working group of club members who have accepted additional responsibilities, and who run the club for the benefit of everyone else.  Please help them wherever possible to perform this vital role.

Once per year there is an AGM (Annual General Meeting), usually in April, where the club committee present a summary of the year's activities.  This usually includes a financial statement presented by the treasurer, competition results and award presentations, and an auction of unwanted items where proceeds are usually donated to the club.  There will also be elections for the committee, and hence everyone is encouraged to attend.

There are generally at least a couple of Work Parties each year. They are an opportunity for all club members to help with tasks such as maintenance and repairs, or perhaps with the roll-out of a new facility.

Check the "Whats On" page for upcoming events.

To join us, visit the club on the last Sunday of the month between 11:00am and 2:00pm. No appointment is necessary - just turn up on the day, bringing a photo I.D. with you.

We ask that disabled persons be given priority in respect of the parking spaces adjacent to the clubroom.
